After getting super frustrated with my calf muscle still not relaxing, even after trying ice, heat, stretching, and castor oil, I opted for a different kind of workout. I got out my bicycle, convinced Sam and Richard to tag along on their bikes, and went for a bike ride along the path that I normally run for a short run. Sometimes, as an adult, I forget how freeing it can be to pedal, pedal, pedal, and coast along a road, feeling the wind blow past you, and being excited about how fast you’re going! It was nice to use different muscles, and do a different kind of workout for a change. My calf felt good afterwards, and I was excited that we got a bicycle ride in before the rain started!
