misery loves company

Took Murphy for a short run on Tuesday night, hoping to work the kink out in my neck, and let go a little steam. Talk about the worst run I’ve had in a long time. We only did a measly 2.18 miles, but it felt like it dragged on forever. Murphy was pulling hard to go faster, my legs felt like solid lead, and it was very difficult to breathe. After it being in the mid to high 90s last week, and suddenly dropping to the high 50s and low 60s, my lungs could not get enough breath for me to breathe evenly. I am looking forward to another good run in the near future, but am taking a few days off to just rest. Yikes.
