Sometimes when there’s no motivation other than pure emotions pulsing through you, the best runs happen. I am sure I will pay for the intensity later today or tomorrow, but when you’re in it, and you’re doing it, you just go with it. The first 3 miles were in 24:33. The next two miles were only slightly slower than the 8:10 minute/miles I was running, and the last mile was much slower. Mother nature thought she could push me around with some wind and freezing temperatures this morning. Well, Mother dearest, I just kicked your ass!
