I feel like I’m on a rollercoaster ride that is neverending. On an actual rollercoaster, there is a beginning and an end. The middle is the fun part that careens you around corners, flips you upside down when you least expect it, and drops you at incredible angles that make you feel like you’re falling out of your seat. I feel like I’m stuck on that angle without my safer harness. And as much as I love roller coasters, I’m ready for this ride to be over. It’s past the point of being fun.
Hence the reasoning for an unanticipated tempo run at the oceanfront. Sometimes a long hard run is all you need. Thanks to Sheila for keepin me company as I ran out my bajillion overwhelming stressors tonight. 5.01 done in 46:18 and day 4 of the Runner’s World Run Streak!
